Our Services
Why Laser?

Our Services

  • Cosmetic

At Cedar Dental Centre we understand the aesthetics of your smile. Whatever the reason for your restoration, there are many different ways in which you can improve your smile using our modern dental techniques.

  • Restorative

Damaged or fractured teeth can be caused by trauma to the mouth that causes injury, such as during sports or activity. Poor oral health and wear and tear could also contribute to broken or fractured teeth.

  • Laser Assisted Root Canal

The nerves and blood vessels in the root canals of a tooth are called the pulp. When bacteria or decay affect the pulp, Root Canal Therapy may be necessary. Root Canal Therapy cleanses the damaged area and restores the tooth. We remove infected pulp, clean the root canal space, and then fill the space with special, medicated filling materials. You receive a fully functional tooth that can last a lifetime.

Improvement on the traditional method uses the dental laser to thoroughly clean the root canal space. The energy from the laser penetrates the small tubules of the root canal much more profoundly than traditional methods, ensuring better cleaning and a more complete removal of bacteria.

Because of the laser technology, this procedure can be done in a single visit in most cases.

  • Implants

The benefits of dental implants from Cedar Dental Centre can be life changing, providing an answer to any awkwardness, discomfort or problems caused by missing teeth or loose dentures.

Dental implants are our treatment of choice for missing teeth because they look and feel like natural teeth while restoring normal function and appearance. Implant dentistry can change your smile and life for years to come.

  • Preventative Dentistry

It is important to maintain good oral health; this means looking after your mouth - there is more to this than your teeth. A comprehensive oral health check is a major component of your first dental appointment with us. This comprises a discussion, an oral examination which may include taking x-rays, and the drawing up of a treatment plan should this be necessary.

    • Oral Health Check up
    • Dental Hygienist
    • Professional Cleaning
    • Gum Disease

    • Decay Detection

Why Laser?

Heat, vibration and pressure are the primary causes of pain associated with the use of the traditional dental drill. Since cutting both hard and soft tissues (teeth and gums) our Laser technology does not generate heat, vibration or pressure, many dental procedures can be performed nearly pain-free with fewer shots, less need for anesthesia, less use of the drill and fewer numb faces.

  • Accuracy and Precision
  • Reduced Trauma
  • Less Bleeding & Swelling
  • Fewer Dental Visits
  • Great for Kids, or nervous patients
  • Versatility
